Bio

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, I grew up hearing my parents say how important it was to learn/know a second language, but not just any second language, it had to be English.  So, I began studying it at the age of 12 and when I was 23 I spent a few months in an English-speaking country in order to improve my listening and speaking skills. After coming back to Brazil I immersed myself in more studies until I finally got a certificate of proficiency both from Cambridge University (UK) and Michigan University (USA).  

I have been working as an ESL teacher for over 28 years.

As a language lover, I have also learnt Italian (I have got a B1 level) and have tried German and Turkish as well.
