English term

sgn. ill.

English Other Law: Contract(s)
This abbreviation is in the end of a text where a notary public attests that the document is a true copy of the original. "Notary: sgn. ill."
The text is translated from another language into English and I think it is the translator's abbreviation.
I suppose that sgn. stands for signed or signature, but I do not understand what ill. stands for.

TIA

Maybe it refers to some kind of drawing or an official stamp?
