Como a veces fish wire es sinónimo de \"fish tape\" o \"fishing tape\" podría tratarse de una \'cinta pasadora de cables\' que cumple la misma finalidad que el alambre guía.

Es una guía que se tuliza para pasar cables a través de los tubos bergman (o tubos conductores de cables).
Suelen ser de nylon o de metal.

Esta es una cinta o alambre conocido como "fish tape" o "fish wire" utilizado para pasar cables a traves de los conductos. En USA y latinamerica se denomina en la mayoria de los catalogos como CINTA GUIA simplemente (sin utilizar "alambre").
