Discussion

Conor McAuley (asker) Feb 23, 2009:
Tarbais Ingeborg was right, the client confirmed that it was a typo for "tarbais" as in "haricots tarbais". Still doesn't make sense to me -- an infusion of beans??? -- but anyhow, this is the information I was given.
Conor McAuley (asker) Nov 19, 2008:
Intriguing indeed I do so much fairly dreary stuff that it's nice to have a bit of a mystery! Will refer it back to the client.
Melissa McMahon Nov 19, 2008:
suggestion the context and capitalisation would lead me to think this is perhaps the name of a wine (ie a wine infusion or wine-infused sauce), except it doesn't seem to be! Perhaps a typo...
Ingeborg Gowans (X) Nov 18, 2008:
There's a place,m called "Bled Trabit" in Marocco, surely this wouldn't fit?, unless this is a Maroccan dish of some sort???
Let us know what you could find out from the client, please. This is intriguing

Mystère..vous devriez demander à votre client (?)

Trablit

I am sure this is too late, but I have your answer. Certainly a typo for 'Trablit' which is a product name. A product made in France by Ets. Corvée. It is an extract of roast coffee beans. This is not a joke - I have just come across it in my local supermarket.......

Note from asker:
Thanks. Seems a strange combination, fish and beans, but will ask the client.
