URGENT help needed with Word

I've got Word 2000 in my PC.

Right now I'm trying to access it to start working and NO tools bar appears and I don't have a way to make them appear. Only the "rules" appear

What can I do?

Thank you in advance for any prompt answer, since I can't work without this.

Did you translate a footnote using Trados previously? Mar 22, 2006

As what you descirbe happens then quite often, if one is not carefull enough.
So I hope this article from the Trados Knowledgbe Base will help you.

The article was very interesting, although I couldn't solve the problem that way.

It is half-solved anyway, since there are Trados set ups that were lost and that I have to set up once again. But I can work this way.

And yes, it was because I translated a footnote.

Hello Ivana
Start Word 2000
Click on the menu bar "View" at the top.
The "View menu" will be displayed and you have to click on Tool bar: the list of all tools bar available will be shown and you have to check those you wanted to display.
