Mission
To schedule, organize and ensure the production of products or utilities, in required quantity and quality, and within agreed timing and budget, and ensure continuous improvement of the production processes, respecting the safety and environmental rules, and adequately managing the available resources, in order to meet commercial objectives of his/her SBU.
Sub-Mission:
To manufacture products or utilities timely and effectively at an optimal cost, improve production performance and manage the own team, respecting the company’s values and strategic pillars.
Main Output
Timely production of qualitative products.
1) Manage the production process
• Is responsible for the execution of the following activities:
• Plan production on a weekly and daily basis.
• Ensure the availability of all necessary resources (people, raw material, equipment, tools…) in order to guarantee production.
• Monitor the production performance indicators and production scheduling, and take necessary operational decisions in case of deviations.
• Organize, follow-up and/or execute product tests, analyze results and adapt production parameters if necessary.
• Anticipate potential problems in order to avoid a production stop.
• Follow up the delivery, packaging and load of product (if applicable).
• Ensure the daily production reporting (performance versus forecasts, reasons for deviations, actions taken…).
• Coordinate the activities of the technical services in order to ensure the effectiveness of the production.

Following the breakup of the Soviet Union, Ukraine declared independence in 1991. The construction of the new Ukrainian state was anything but simple. The separation of Ukraine out of the integrated Soviet economy posed considerable problems. Politically too, the development of a democratic form of government with the creation of political parties and the development of an independent judiciary were major challenges. Unfortunately in Ukraine, unlike in Poland, there was no complete break with the past. Essentially the same people with many of the same institutions which had governed Ukraine as part of the Soviet Union, headed the new independent state. The 1990s therefore became largely a lost decade for Ukraine, in which there was a major decline in real GDP, an increase in poverty and during which the seeds of crony capitalism were sown.
Poland was the first state to recognize Ukrainian independence and, in spite of the history of complex relations between the two countries, became a major sponsor of Ukraine in the West.
However in the 1990s Poland and the other states of central and eastern Europe were concentrating on their preparation for integration with the European Union and had little time or inclination to deviate from this course, until the accession treaty was signed in 2002.
For the European Union too, policy during the 1990s was essentially absorbed with the creation of a Monetary Union and with the preparation for the fifth enlargement of the Union. Following the breakup of the Soviet Union, Eastern Europe had disintegrated into chaos, but a chaos which did not directly threaten the European Union. The EU's response therefore to the challenges posed by state-making in the East was rather weak.
Economically the 1990s were a disastrous period for Ukraine. At the time of the 1998 economic crisis Ukraine's economy was only approximately 40% of the size it had been in 1990. While these statistics may be somewhat dubious, it is clear that the economy contracted severely during this period. As one of the key industrial regions of the former Soviet Union with a considerable share of its heavy industry, Ukraine was particularly hard hit both by the break-up of the Soviet Union and by the closure of a considerable proportion of its industry. Although it recovered from the 10,000% inflation in 1993, the economy did not start growing again until the year 2000.
The basis for economic recovery was set partly by the policies which were adopted as a result of the 1998 financial crisis. Ukraine’s new currency, the hyrvnia introduced in 1996, was devalued, tighter fiscal policy was introduced and an economic reform programme, under Prime Minister Yushchenko, was put in place from 2000. Recovery was also fostered by an improvement in Ukraine’s terms of trade, with international prices for metal products rising strongly. However the period between the financial crisis and the Orange Revolution was also marked by the blooming of the insider economy fostered by President Kuchma.

Відірвавшись від єдиного радянської економічної системи Україна зіштовхнулась з дуже складними економічними, та політичними проблемами. Головні виклики того часу були: розвиток демократичних форм урядування, заснування політичних партій та розбудова незалежної судової системи. Нажаль, Україна, на відміну від Польщі, не спромоглась повністю порвати з минулим. Залишились ті ж керівники, на посадах своїх установ. Вони керували новою незалежною країною, так само, як звикли керувати коли вона була частиною Радянського Союзу. Саме тому 90-і роки були багато в чому втраченими для України. Різке падіння ВВП у поєднанні з ростом зубожіння населення. Усе це створило добре підґрунтя для розвитку кланового капіталізму.
Польща – перша країна, яка визнала незалежність України. Не дивлячись на спільну складну історію відносин, Польща стала головним лобістом України на Заході.
Тим часом у 90-і роки Польща та інші країни Центральної та Східної Європи сконцентрували зусилля на інтеграцію з Європейським Союзом. Вони ішли цим шляхом майже не гаючи часу та практично не відхиляючись від нього до 2002 року, коли був підписаний договір про вступ у ЄС.
Сам Євросоюз у 90-і роки більше переймався створенням валютного союзу та підготовкою до свого п’ятого розширення. З розвалом СРСР, країни Східної Європи також поглинув хаос, але цей хаос не ніс прямої загрози для ЄС, тому його реакція
на виклики пов’язані з утворенням нових держав на Сході була доволі кволою.
90-і роки були катастрофічні для економіки України. Підчас економічної кризи 1998 року Українська економіка сягала лише 40% від об’єму 1990-го року. Та хоча ця статистика не зовсім коректна, та вона яскраво демонструє якої глибини сягнула економічна криза у цей період. Україна була одним з провідних індустріальних регіонів бувшого СРСР, на яку приходилась і левова частина його важкої індустрії. А тому особливо важкого удару зазнала економіка України з огляду на розвал СРСР та згортання великої частини його промислового комплексу. Хоча інфляція у 1993 році у 10,000% була приборкана, економічний зріст не спостерігався аж до 2000 року.
Основою для економічного зростання частково стали політичні рішення прийняті підчас фінансової кризи 1998 року. Девальвація нової української валюти, яка була введена в обіг у 1996 році, привела до введення більш жорсткої фіскальної політики. Під проводом прем’єр-міністра Ющенко була прийнята програма економічних реформ у 2000 році. Потужним стимулом для економічного зростання стало пожвавлення торгівлі завдяки швидкому зростанню цін на метал. Час між фінансовою кризою та Помаранчевою Революцією також позначився пожвавленням економіки країни під керівництвом президента Кучми.
