to me you failed to provide the required context to your question. The result is that you didn't get any acceptable answers, which is why the question is still open. What a waste of your and everyone else's precious time.

I don't recall expressing any concerns about your work as a translator, and I can put your mind at rest: I never lost a moment's sleep about it. :-) Having said that, you appeared to be in need of some assistance but for reasons unknown (continued below)
Vanders (asker) Jul 3, 2006:
note from the asker Hello
Thank you for helping me. I know I should have provided more information.
Don't worry about my work as a translator. The client was happy with the quality of my translation :-).

KudoZ rules: 2.4 Sufficient context must be provided with each question. When there is no context, the subject area and type of document should be indicated. It can be helpful to enter sentences or paragraphs where the term in question occurs.
jarry (X) Jun 29, 2006:
"Opdracht", simple though it may seem to the uninitiated, can be a very tricky word to translate into English. IT ALL DEPENDS ON THE CONTEXT!
jarry (X) Jun 29, 2006:
Unless you tell us what kind of "opdracht" this contract or agreement is for, you are not going to get a proper answer. As writeaway said, it could be a service / supply/ construction / shipping or any other type of contract.
writeaway Jun 29, 2006:
the only problem is that we need to know what the 'opdracht' is for. This is basically the subject of the job you're doing.

or assigment agreement is the term used by accountants and consultants for the assignments they receive to perform auditing or advisory services
Peer comment(s):

neutral writeaway : why do you assume this has something to do with accounting? As long as Asker doesn't provide info. this can be whatever anyone wants it to be. Scary-because this is supposedly the very job he is translating into English?

I don't assume anything of the sort. Merely trying to start the ball rolling as asker is not very forthcoming with context!
