Project Description Network Custody and Clearing System is to be customized for Citibank - London in 13 sites all over Europe and US. It has been developed with Power-Builder as Front-end, CICS as On Line Transaction Processor and SYBASE as Back-end. It is a client server based application that takes care of Securities management. It supports custody related business requirements in both scrip-less and scrip-based environment. It provides a high degree of automation in a range of custodial activities such as corporate action processing, registration of securities, billing and the like.Some of the key features of NCS include:1. A consistent State-of-the-art Graphical User Interface for the users to interact with the system2. Application-level security to the system data being accessed by various users.3. Single entry point facility for the various application-related components of the system to access or control the NCS database. 4. Mechanisms to perform the normal system routines such as batch processing and static data maintenance. 5. A mechanism for interfacing with the various external systems like · SWIFT· CASH SYSTEM· PRICE FEED SYSTEM· CORPORATE NEWS ANNOUNCING SYSTEM
