w tym kontekście "drain the flea power" dosłownie oznacza deaktywacje zasilania podtrzymania pamięci nastaw BIOSa. Czyli usuniecie baterii i wyładowanie kondensatora podtrzymującego. Ale wyrażenie "zresetować BIOS" jest IMHO zrozumialsze.

Asker: Mam jednak pewne wątpliwości, czy nie chodzi jednak po prostu o rozładowanie pozostałego napięcia w układzie zasilania, bo znalazłem też taki opis: Unplug the power cord from the back of the computer. Push and hold the power button for 10 seconds to drain the flea power. Disconnect the chassis fan power connector from the system board. Plug the external power cord into the back of the system. Attempt to power up the system. Poza tym, dlaczego nie napisaliby "Reset BIOS"?

  -> 1. to skrót od "napięcia [panującego w układzie] zasilania". Z kontekstu wynika, ze zasilanie jest wyłączone, niemniej czasem mimo to jest tam pewne napięcie. 2. Kondensatorów jest tam więcej, ale te w zasilaczu są największe i dla meritum najważniejsze.

Power the system down.
Remove all external devices and disconnect AC adapter power cable from the system if applicable.
Remove the battery from the system.

Prąd resztkowy i napięcie resztkowe to inne pojęcia, a więc ich użycie w tłumaczeniu byłoby błędem merytorycznym (choć dla laika byłoby "czytelniejsze":)). Napięcia nie można rozładować (można natomiast rozładować źródło napięcia).
