As you have probably realised, there is no direct reference to the word "attaches" from the text above. However, we can safely conclude that the "attaches" in this context means the liability that did not originate from whichever policy this clause is on, but on a separate policy.

As far as insurance companies in Malaysia are concerned, the above Malay sentences are used in correspondence with the English clause, thus adopting the exact sentence would certainly be a wise move, don't you think?
