Le document que je traduit est une présentation Power Point. Je ne sais pas ce qui signifie ***Pain linkage***, le titre d'une colonne. Les autres titres sont "Differentiator" et "Defensibility". Le contenu des colonnes est par exemple:

Differentiator:
1. Virtual infrastructure that is easier to deploy
2. Easier to manage

***Pain linkage***
1. Better ability to meet business growth demands
2. Reduces operating costs

Defensibility
1. Built to order & fully tested in factory, not in channel or on-site

je pense qu'ils essayent de trouver une relation entre leur produit/service/process et une "douleur" éprouvée par le client. Si le client souffre d'un "pain point" particulier, il est plus facile de vendre la solution. Par exemple "reduce operating costs" diminue la "souffrance" des coûts de fonctionnement. En français ça ne se dit pas trop, du moins on n'en parle pas ouvertement. Donc problématique ou difficulté je pense.
