Sorry, I don't think I can help you with this. I have no idea what this word means (assuming that you heard the word correctly in the first place). By the way, are you sure that 'গরফোরা' is 'bed ridden' ?? I am saying this because, it sounds very much like "ঘর পোড়া" (as in - ঘর পোড়া গরু সিঁদুরে মেঘ দেখলেই...etc). Could it be actually a distorted regionalised rural pronunciation of "ঘর পোড়া" ?

I am afraid that I have no idea what dialect it is. I just know the speaker came to Dhaka from a village of Bangladesh.The interview is quite legible but I stuck to this word. Her another tough word is 'গরফোরা' which is already translated as 'bed ridden'. Does this clue help?
