Spanish term or phrase: sistema de volcado
Buonasera.

Nel mio thriller, gli ingegneri del CERN devono fermare di corsa i fasci di nuclei all'interno dell'LHC perché i magneti superconduttori sono stati sabotati e stanno collassando.
Uno dei personaggi impartisce un paio di volte l'ordine: "¡vuelca los haces!", e poi dice:

"... aún están a tiempo de dirigirlos sobre el *sistema de volcado*, un gran bloque de varias toneladas de grafito capaz de absorber la enorme energía de los iones acelerados".

Ora, il senso è chiaro, e ho letto che c'è questo sistema di magneti deflettori che, appunto, devia gli ioni mandandoli nella grafite perché vengano assorbiti, ma come si chiama questo sistema in italiano?
(Ho letto anche del sistema di collimazione, ma... boh?)
