UV is another inking technology where you may see as head strikes – again as a result of poor tension on the media rolls, or defective media.
Ink combing from incorrect ink restriction settings allowing too much ink to be laid down can also occur in UV output. This will appear as a streak pattern of parallel lines that literally look like someone combed the ink before it cured. You may also see lawn mower striping – visible cure direction.
