I do not have an intend to reply with anything against or attack the proposed translations from the other colleagues so far, but I have to say that if you say "zinc pipe" that means that we are saying that it is a pipe made solely from zinc, which is not the case.
"Zingato" is a special term in this industry and if you look at its origin and the breaking down of it:
zing(g)ato - "zinc-cotaed", you kind of get its feel.
There is times when they even use "galv-zinc-coated", or even as suggested "galvanised", but for the case of the diploma, "zinc-coated" should do.
