"Emplois payés sans travailler" or maybe "Ghost job" Explanation: These are jobs where you get paid (and even receive benefits) but don't do the work, where you don't even have to show up. (Sounds a bit like politicians, or here in Canada, like Senators, doesn't it?...) "McCall Audit Finds Lax Oversight Results in No-show Jobs at Adirondack Correctional Facility "(...) We found ten Adirondack Correctional Facility employees who earned a full-time salary and got medical and pension benefits, but rarely worked,"" http://www.google.com/search?q=cache:www.osc.state.ny.us/div... "Politicians got paid at no-show jobs Miami-Dade County Public Schools paid local politicians for jobs in which they didn't always have to show up." http://www.miafla.com/111599a.html I cannot find an equivalent in French. The following may or may not be the same thing, as it means a job that doesn't really exist: "GHOST-JOB TRIAL ENDS IN AIDE'S CONVICTION A federal jury in Chicago deliberated little more than four hours Tuesday before convicting Gregory Swan, a low-level political consultant, in ghost-payrolling and kickback schemes. That's all I can find. I hope it helps you anyway. |
