I propose the translation above, even though I can't find any example on the web. But there is an example in the case of optic fibres at this site:

in-line est un peu problématique, car différentes traductions possibles en fonction du contexte.
Premier sens, aligné (in-line pump = pompe installée en ligne).
In-line veut aussi dire intégré (in-line image = image intégrée) ou encore direct, immédiat (in-line processing = traitement direct, immédiat)
