Swedish term or phrase: Jaktflygdivision
In a report on the Swedish air force:

"Jaktflygdivision skall medverka i invasions och neutralitetsförsvaret. Uppgiften omfattar jaktförsvar, jaktskydd, jaktsvep samt jakt attack".

Does "Pursuit division, pursuit defense, pursuit protection and pursuit attack", work or would it be better to say "Fighter division" or "combat division". I am leaning toward using "pursuit" because it implies less engagement of the enemy, just sort of following them in and out of the sector. I was wondering if anyone with Airforce experience might know. Web addresses for related info/glossaries would be most welcome.
