Bio
I created operations manuals for the molybdenum Roaster and Canning crews at Endako Mines in British Columbia, as well as an Environmental Operations Manual for Sigma (gold) Mines in Val d'Or, Québec.

I optimized existing manuals, and created new ones, for USBank's Toronto office, specifically geared towards Customer Service and Account Coordination. For Royal Bank, I created new procedures and implemented them with regards to automating queues and identifying counterfeit credit card fraud. For these procedures, I created operations and training manuals.

I am currently creating process manuals for Optimal Payments in Montreal, regarding Risk Monitoring and Underwriting procedures. Optimal Payments provides services to merchants who wish to process credit card and debit card payments on their website or at their physical location.

I am fully bilingual. I was born in Montreal, and grew up in Northern Ontario. We always spoke and still speak French at home, and I attended French school until the end of high school. Outside of class, my friends and I spoke to each other in English. I attended University in English, and have done all my studies since then in English as well.

I have also studied Spanish (one year in high school, and one year in University) and Irish-Gaelic.

I worked in the mining industry from 1992 to 1996, as an Environmental Coordinator and as a Metallurgical (Geological) Engineer in British Columbia, Ontario and Québec. I wrote operations manuals and technical reports at all locations, and assisted in ISO certification.

I've been in the financial industry since 1996, working in the world of credit cards, both on the issuing side and on the acquiring side, in Ontario and in Québec. I've also written operations manuals for these companies where none existed before.

I have a degree in Geological / Mineral Engineering from the University of Toronto, as well as a Piano Technician diploma from George Brown College.

I am studying to become a musician. I have been accepted into the Schulich School of Music at McGill for a full-time undergraduate degree starting in September 2006. I have been playing the piano since the age of four, and have completed my grade X practical piano, as well as my grade V history, harmony, analysis and counterpoint from the Royal Conservatory of Music (Toronto).
