French-born teacher/translator/proof-reader in the UK.

I've taken many translation courses throughout my studies and I have completed them all successfully.

I have been translating Japanese anime for a French fansubbing team for 3 years now (Japanese audio into French scripts). This has allowed me to sharpen my translating techniques as well as broaden my vocabulary as I have the occasion to work on very different projects (fantasy, sci-fi, sport, comedy).

I obtained my English teacher certification in 2010 and was emplyed as a secondary school teacher until December 2011. It taught me a lot about teamwork and working under pressure with tight deadlines - the kids don't wait. I also taught French as a Foreign Language over the course of a summer.

But I decided to switch careers and started a new job as a QA tester for a video game company. This was the opportunity for me to combine a childhood passion and work.

Hard-working and very conscentious, I only deliver translations when I'm certain of their great quality.
