Source text - English Text localization is adapting the source language text into the target language. Translation of the source text should follow the logic of the reader’s language situation. Localization of the text implies a deep knowledge of the history, culture and literature related to the target language. That is why text localization services are best performed by native speakers of the target language.

Bio
I'm a Norwegian, also Native in English, and with working knowledge of Swedish and Danish, and intermediate knowledge of German and basic French. I mainly work with Norwegian and English, and after seven years of working professionally in language quality assurance and translation, I have excellent and in-depth knowledge of the two, which includes thorough knowledge of their grammar and syntax, and extensive knowledge of terminology.
I'm most familiar with the subjects: media (TV, movies, shows), subtitles, games and software, but also literature. I have significant experience with translations for mobile applications, console and PC applications, websites and user guides.
Additionally, I am accustomed to working under NDAs and adhering to confidentiality regulations. My tools are MS Office, OpenOffice and misc. CAT-tools, and I have excellent research skills as part of previous work experience.
I use touch typing with an efficient high average of 90 WPM and as such work very efficiently.
