I have been involved with translation, proofreading and subtitling, off and on these past 20 years. predominantly I've been working on art/literature related translations, stage plays (Trainspotting, Salka Valka), a few short stories and stage versions of Icelandic folktales.

However I've done work in many disparate fields; everything from technical instruction manuals, IT, Software translation (Linux Open Office, for example), legal documents, gaming manuals, even knitting patterns at one point! For further detail I refer you to my profile.

In all modesty, I think I can handle most things, aside perhaps from astrophysics or genetics...

I'm eager to get back to work. My rate goes from $0.12 to $0.20 per word, depending on the complexity of content and length of document. Hourly rate can be negotiated on a case by case basis. Professional, conscientious service guaranteed. Hope to hear from you soon.
