Always coming across badly translated English,my aim is to get rid of "franglais".I have a BA in French Litterature and History of Art, have lived in Bordeaux for 20 years, teaching English to adults/ children/ students training to be technical salesmen/ secretaries, businessmen and engineers in broadcasting (where I also spent 3 years translating documents concerning radio/audio/computer jargon).I have experience in translating in the field of wine as well as technical and business. I'd like to try literary works too.
I am self-employed. My fees are 00,11 euro per word.
In the above mentioned electronics company, I translated all their technical documents destined for non-French clients, one of whom happened to be the BBC.
I recently translated a CD Rom in marketing. | Keywords: broadcasting, hertz, software, website, configuration, maturation, tannin, vinification, noble rot, art history, expressionism, marketing, depreciation, capital and reserves, initial and closing stock |
