As a PhD holder in the field of Germanic Languages and Literatures, my background is in the humanities. However, I also have years of professional translation and editing experience in the fields of business and finance. As a result, I am equally at home translating academic monographs and literature as I am with business reports, press releases, and business presentations.

I am also interested in genealogy and enjoy translating old handwritten German documents in the Kurrent script.
