Bio

I started in 1987, translating technical manuals for training courses in the areas of plumbing, electricity, and computer programming. From Spanish and English to Portuguese. I also translated instruction manuals for electrical equipment and lamps from Italian, Spanish, and English to Portuguese.

I did translations for the rental of film production equipment, from Portuguese to French and English; translation and interpretation needs, to and from French, English, and Spanish; direct interpretation, in congresses, from Portuguese to English; audio transcription; editing; sentences for machines, from English to Portuguese and QA.

Over the last 30 years, I have assisted a veterinary doctor in all surgeries, as well as in the translation of technical books, equipment instruction manuals, translation of technical books on medical procedures. Usually from English to Portuguese, but also from Spanish and French to Portuguese (PT-PT).

Afterwards, I became familiar and proficient in the following areas: medicine, pharmacology and veterinary, plumbing, and mechanical engineering, electricity and electronics, computer sciences, gaming and videogames, energy and environment, insurance, financial, business and marketing, film and entertainment, education and e-learning, hotel, and catering.

I also do Portuguese (Portugal) transcription and subtitling (with EN(US)-EN(PT) translation or just PT-PT.
