Source text - English The main reason why I chose to become a Chemical Engineer was to be part of the solutions for the many problems that companies face nowadays. As a result, I started my Chemical Engineering degree in 2010 at the Federal University of São Carlos, in Brazil, concluding it in 2015.
In 2012, I got a scholarship to study powder materials at the Chemical Engineering Department of my university, which lasted for one year. Afterwards, I got another scholarship to study one year of the Chemical Engineering Course at the Newcastle University, in the United Kingdom. This was a great opportunity to improve my English skills and to see Chemical Engineering and the world from a different perspective.
After I came back to Brazil, I started my internship at Solvay's Silica Business, where I followed the daily production and treated production, quality and process data in order to help engineers in plant improvements.
In 2016, I continued my experience in production planning and control by starting my role as a supervisor at Santorini Engenharia, a company specialized in projects of energy efficiency, especially the ones related to lighting retrofit of industries and Shopping Malls. As a production supervisor, it was my duty to lead the team directly responsible for the project, as well as to plan the service execution, ensure safety and quality and to be the main contact from the company with the client. During this time, I led 8 projects, which covered the installation of more than 40.000 points around Brazil.
As a result, in 2018 I've assumed a management role, coordinating the teams and projects from the company headquarters. As a production coordinator, I've been responsible for allocating people and resources, supplier's logistics and building up daily production and quality reports. Since then, I have been one of the coordinators directly responsible for installing more than 300.000 points in 30 projects throughout Brazil.
