I've been a volunteer Spanish/English subtitler and segmenter on Rakuten Viki since August 2015. I had worked on about 200 projects, mostly Korean and Chinese dramas and movies, subtitling from English to Spanish, English transcribing and segmenting, which consists of cutting a video into timed parts called segments (where goes the subtitle) making sure the timing is accurate. Up to date, I had contributed with 62,840 subtitles and 26,668 segments. Also, while working as a production assistant in the reality shows Survivor Turkey and Greece, and Exatlon Mexico, Romania, and Colombia, I function as a translator for some employees and contestants when they went to their medical appointments, diagnostic tests, etc. And I filled in a couple of times when they were short on translators and needed someone to translate an episode from English to Spanish. |
