I am a linguistics major and a long-time lover of languages. I have limited experience with professional translation, having only done a few freelance jobs on an informal basis, but also have done a good bit of amateur translation work between multiple languages. I am interested in gaining experience in translation. I am interested in the carrying of meaning across different cultures and how to express the same concept in a different culture's terms.
