Bio
I am accurate, proactive and stress-resistant.

Actually, I (unconsciously) always have been  a language lover.

My mother  read to me a lot and because of that I started to read a lot myself. So much so that at one point I had read all the books in the library in my favorite genre....

In my work (mostly spin-in-the-web functions) I most enjoyed writing letters/texts in which complicated or difficult matters had to be explained in an understandable way.

Years after I left an employer I (as a recipient ) once came across a phrase I had thought of in a standard letter.

A Swedish friend asked me 5 years ago to (partially) translate her website (SE to NL). I really enjoyed doing that and succeeded beyond expectations. I didn't give it any further thought at the time, but now that I am looking for a new challenge the memory came up again.

I also edited a thesis for my daughter, reducing the word count considerably without losing the essence of the piece, so that she could still add necessary information.

And the more I discover how things work in this industry, the more enthusiastic I become!
