I am a professional translator (English to Spanish) with over 15 years of experience. I hold undergraduate and graduate degrees in Translation Studies. In addition to translating, I also proofread and edit Spanish translations or original Spanish texts. Lately, I have been particularly interested in machine translation post-editing and, as a result, I have taken several courses on this topic.

I also have experience working with various CAT tools, including Trados, OmegaT, MemoQ, and WordFast Anywhere. I am also willing to learn new translation technologies as needed. My areas of expertise include law (general), healthcare, medical texts, life sciences, advocacy, age discrimination, environmental pollution, logistics, social security, bookkeeping, among other topics.

I am highly interested in social issues, particularly in healthcare, housing, retirement, personal pension accounts, and age discrimination. This interest has led me to undertake several pro bono jobs, an experience that has been truly rewarding.
