Music, with emphasis on bands, modern music, arranging and instruments
Automobiles, Trucks and Coaches, but with certain limitations
Commercial Law, Contracts, Tenders


Successful completion of a colloquial language course whilst in the British Army led to regular tasking as an interpreter, occasionally as a translator. The essentially military vocabulary that had been learnt was greatly expanded over the next several years by social contact with the local populace
