Source text - Serbian Mart Radosav Vujačić, direktor Azotare, izjavio je da pokretanje sudskog postupka protiv bivših vlasnika zbog prodaje pogona Karbamid 2 nije u njegovoj nadležnosti već je to posao Agencije za privatizaciju i države. (Blic, 21.03.2010, KO OČERUPA FIRMU NE PLAĆA ODŠTETU) Maj 13.05. ‐ Po podacima iz Azotare, u prvom kvartalu ove godine proizvedeno je značajno više mineralnih đubriva nego prethodne godine, iako se fabrika nalazi u fazi rekonstrukcije (Pregled, 13.05.2010, AZOTARA RADI PO PLANU) 18.05. ‐ Generalni direktor „Srbijagasa“ Dušan Bajatović izjavio da je strategija te kompanije da za tri do četiri godine nađe strateške partnere za pančevačku HIP „Azotaru“, dodavši da je za investicije u Azotari potrebno oko 16 miliona evra, kako bi trenutnu proizvodnju od oko 400.000 tona azotnih đubriva povećali na milion tona na godišnjem nivou. Pojedini ekonomisti ovakve planove nazvali neozbiljnim jer i sam Srbijagas ne posluje dobro. Bajatović je odgovorio da novac za investicije u pančevačku “Azotaru” neće dati “Srbijagas” , već će biti obezbeđen ili povoljnim kreditnim linijama Evropske banke za obnovu i razvoj ili ulaganjem strateških partnera. 26.05. ‐ Odbornici pančevačke skupštine izglasali odluku po kojoj se Azotari otpisuje dug za kamate po različitim osnovama dugovanja gradskom budžetu, kako bi se fabrici olakšao proces restrukturiranja. 28.05. ‐ Ministar trgovine i usluga Srbije Slobodan Milosavljević je nakon sastanka sa ministarkom za međunarodnu saradnju Egipta Fejzi Abulnaga novinarima rekao da su egipatske firme zainteresovane za preuzimanje pančevačke Azotare. (više dnevnih novina je prenelo ovu vest) Avgust 24.08. – Radosav Vujačić zamenik generalnog direktora JP „Srbijagas” i predsednik upravnog odbora HIP Azotara Pančevo izazvao je saobraćajnu nesreću u kojoj je poginuo 15‐godišnji dečak iz Novog Sada. Vujačić je bio pod dejstvom alkohola kada je kolima naleteo na dečaka koji je vozio bicikl. Septembar 01.09. ‐ Pančevačko Gradsko veće prihvatilo je predlog Ministarstva za životnu sredinu i prostorno planiranje o planu čišćenja „Azotarinog kanala“ koji stručnjaci smatraju za vodotok na čijem je dnu mulj sa najvećom koncentracijom otrova u regionu. Agencija za privatizaciju objavila je 17. septembra oglas za izbor privremenih zastupnika kapitala u preduzećima gde je poništena privatizacija jer želi da izborom stručnih ljudi ubrza njihovu ponovnu prodaju. Među navedenim firmama nalazi se i Azotara. 18.09. ‐ Afera oko prodaje pšenice u kojoj su učestvovale Azotara, Srbijagas i još dve privatne firme. Azotara je kupila pšenicu po ceni od 12 dinara po kg a prodala je po ceni od 8,7 dinara po kg. Gubitak je preko dva miliona evra a potencijalni, zbog rasta cene pšenice na tržištu, oko sedam miliona. (Kurir, 18.09.2010, AFERA „PŠENICA“) Oktobar 13.10. ‐ Zbog povećanja količine zagađujućih materija koje su u dužem periodu izmerene u Pančevu, podnete prijave za privredni prestup protiv Rafinerije ,
Petrohemije i Azotare i odgovornih lica u njima zbog zagađivanja životne sredine, izjavio republički inspektor za zaštitu životne sredine. 27.10. ‐ Direktor „Agroopreme“ iz Subotice optužio ministra poljoprivrede Sašu Dragina da je omogućio nekolicini proizvođača monopolski položaj i zagarantovanu zaradu na tržištu đubriva. U pitanju su tenderi proistekli iz uredbe o regresiranju nabavke veštačkih đubriva. Pomenuto je da je najviše koristi od regresiranja imao Fertil koji posluje u okviru Viktorija grupe (2,2 milijardi dinara), a da je Azotari Pančevo na taj način uplaćeno više od 900 miliona dinara (Alo!, 27.10.2010, MINISTAR DAO MONOPOL NA ĐUBRIVO!!! i Alo!, 28.10.2010, DRAGIN STVARA KARTEL ĐUBRIVA?)
2910 ‐ Zbog kvara na jednom od pogona Azotare, došlo do curenja amonijaka i trovanja dva radnika koji su hospitalizovani. Incident nije ugrozio životnu sredinu.
Translation - English March – Azotara director Radosav Vujačić, announces that the legal actions against the former owners, on account of the Karbamid 2 power plant sale, is not within his jurisdiction and that it is a job for the Privatization Agency and the Government (Blic, 03‐21‐2010, The One Who Plucks the Company Doesn’t Pay Damages) May 13 May – According to Azotara, the first quarter has seen a considerable increase in mineral fertilizer production compared to last year, even though the factory is currently undergoing reconstruction (Pregled, 05‐13‐2010, Azotara Working as Planned) 18 May – Srbijagas director Dušan Bajatović says that the company’s strategy is to find strategic partners for the Pančevo HIP Azotara within the next three to four years, adding that Azotara is looking for an estimated EUR 16 million in investments, needed to increase the current production of 400.000 tons of nitrate fertilizers to 1million annually. Some economists dub these kinds of plans foolish since Srbijagas itself is not doing well. Bajatović replied that the funds invested into the Pančevo Azotara will not come from Srbijagas, and that they will be provided either by favorable credit lines of the European Bank for Reconstuction and Development, or through investments of strategic partners. 05 May – Members of the Pančevo assembly voted on the decision, which writes off Azotara’s debts to the city budget for interest rates on various grounds , which would aid the factory’s reconstruction process. 28 May – Following a meeting with Egypt’s Minister of International Co‐ operation Fayza Aboulnaga, Minister of Trade and Services Slobodan Milosavljević told reporters that Egyptian companies are interested acquiring over the Pančevo Azotara. (numerous daily journals reported on this) August 24 August – Deputy general director JP Srbijagas and chairman of the HIP Azotara executive board, Radosav Vujačić caused a traffic collision, which resulted in the death of a 15‐year‐old boy from Novi Sad. Vujačić was driving under the influence of alcohol when his automobile ran into the boy, who was riding a bike. September
01 September – Pančevo city council accepted plan proposed by the the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning for the cleanup the Azotara canal, a waterfway whose bottom contains the highest concentration of poison in the region. On September 17, the Privatization Agency published an open tender for temporary representative for capital in companies where privatizations have been nullified, because it wants to speed up their renewed sale by choosing specialists. Azotara is among the mentioned companies. 18 September – Scandal surrounding the sale of wheat involving the Azotara, Srbijagas and two private companies. Azotara purchased wheat at RSD 12 per kilo and sold at RSD 8.70 per kilo. The loss exceeds EUR 2 million with the potential loss being an estimated 7 million, due to rising wheat prices (Kurir 09‐ 18‐2010, Wheat Incident) October 12 October – Due to increase in levels of toxic materials which have been recorded in Pančevo over a longer time period, reports of commercial offences have been filed against Rafinerija, Petrohemija and Azotara and responsible persons, on grounds of pollution of the environment, announced by the state inspector for the environment. 27 October – The agrooprema CEO in Subotica, accused the Minister of Agriculutre Saša Dragin of enabling monopoly to a handful of manufacturers and guaranteeing them profit in the fertilizer market. In matters in question are the tenders stemming from regulations on the subsidies for artificial fertilizer acquisition. It was mentioned that most of the profit from the subsidies was made by Fertil, which deals within the Victoria Group (RSD 2.2 billion) and that the Pančevo Azotara had beed paid more than RSD 900 million (Alo!, 10‐27‐ 2010, Minister Gives Monopoly on Fertilizers, and Alo!, 10‐28‐2010, Dragin Making Fertlizer Cartel?) 29 October – Due to the malfunction of one of the Azotara plants, there was an ammonium leak and the poisoning of two workers who have been hospitalized. The incident did not endanger the environment.
