As in basic products, some components, such as SLA support, asset management, or change management, might be optional in midrange products.

Si parla di prodotti software per l'Help desk.

Prima di venire bacchettato :-), vorrei dire che il "gestione patrimoniale" presente nel glossario non mi sembra che possa andare bene in questo caso. Può essere che con "asset" si intendano i beni dell'azienda (computer, stampanti, monitor, ecc.)?

In linea di massima, quando si tratta di società che offrono servizi di questo tipo alle aziende, 'asset' viene tradotto con 'bene'.

Questo sarebbe sicuramente giusto se dal contesto fosse sicuro che i beni a cui ci si riferisce siano solo di natura strumentale, credo che l'aggiunta di 'strumentale' possa essere in qualche senso considerata una ridondanza se non una overtranslation.

In questo senso, avrebbe un significato onnicomprensivo. Infatti addirittura un \"asset\" per un\'azienda potrebbe essere anche l\'esperienza di un dipendente.
Certo sarebbe opportuno sapere esattamente cosa fa questo programma.
