"Incumbent" ar fi "titular", dar după cum este construită fraza aş spune că aici se pun în antiteză jucătorii noi şi jucătorii "cu state vechi", cei care activează de o vreme pe piaţă. Cred că titular este folosit aici în mod metaforic.

: Mie mi se pare destul de clar că aici este vorba de companii şi nu de personalul acestora. Pe de altă parte, nu înţeleg de ce aţi introdus doar „în exerciţiu" ca echivalent al lui „incumbent”, când de fapt voiaţi să spuneţi „personal în exerciţiu".
