tapon de expansion Explanation: Freeze plug, expansion plug, core hole plug are all the same. They seal the casting holes formed by the core risers and come int the form of a dish or a cup, varying in size from 1/2" to 2-1/2". Engine blocks will have 8 to 12 and the head a lesser number. The technical name is core hole plug, but because they will pop out if water in the engine freezes ( water expands when freezing), they are also known by the other terms. |
