can't translate Explanation: I believe it means that its everywhere...loca to us is like a slut...so when you say concha de loca, its everywhere, everyone "knows it"...it seems from the sentence like this young man "talks crap, or talks a lot" about this proper gentleman to others. Im guessing...btw...I called my dad and he doesn't remember. What novel is it? -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 56 mins (2005-08-03 14:48:48 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- yeah I would translate it like Anabel said, just directly into English...it means more then that but I wouldn\'t elaborate. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr 0 min (2005-08-03 14:53:12 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Idillma I read some of Op Oloop...I don\'t envy you! LOL best of luck. If you need any more bad words translated don\'t be shy! -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs 27 mins (2005-08-03 16:19:52 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Ok sorry, the translation would be \"like a whores pussy\" Im sorry its so nasty but thats what it is. Like Anabel said, concha doesnt mean shell to us, it means the female rep organ. But loca in this case means whore/slut, not madwoman. I just asked my dad again (now that hes fully awake)if he thought what I was talking about was right and he almost fell out of his chair (he\'s a pastor). He said yes thats what it means, because a \"concha de loca\" is in everyones mouth, like when someone talks bad about someone else. Im sorry to be so vulgar....=-) |

He's making me more hysterical than a crazy whore Explanation: Or something to that effect. Some definitions for hysteria: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&rls=RNWE,RNWE:2005-02... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hysteria -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 4 hrs 43 mins (2005-08-03 18:35:44 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- I was also thinking about \"worked up\" as in \"he\'s making me more worked up than...\" Definitions of \"worked up\" on the Web: aroused: of persons; excessively affected by emotion; \"he would become emotional over nothing at all\"; \"she was worked up about all the noise\" wordnet.princeton.edu/perl/webwn |
