I am pretty sure to use a plural here, since IMO 'nagenoeg altijd' indicates repetition. Context: De aandelenfondsen keren jaarlijks weinig dividend uit. Die inkomsten zijn te verwaarlozen. De obligaties keren jaarlijks gemiddeld een rente uit van €2.800. *Dit geld wordt nagenoeg altijd besteed aan een vakantiereisje.* IMO the translation should be *This money is almost always spent on holiday trips*. My business partner thinks it should be *a trip*. Can anyone help us out here?
