get into (my) role at work

"After I get into role at work, I am able to fully concentrate on my work."

In acting, it is most common to say "get into role" or "get into character," which is where this phrase originates.

While the Chinese includes "不想杂事" (not think of irrelevant matters/random matters), this is superfluous in English, which already says "fully concentrate" (专心工作), which means that one does not think of other things. 进入工作角色 is the same as 进入在工作的角色--if translated in this way, the English sounds a little better.

take up the work role

After I take up (or assume) my work role, nothing can distract me from it.

Once I take up my work role, I can concentrate on work and won't be distracted by errant thoughts.

getting into a working mood

getting into a working mood

--------------------------------------------------
Note added at 1 day6 hrs (2007-12-07 17:05:43 GMT)
--------------------------------------------------

然而,如果议成" role at work"/ “part in the workplace"/"take up a work role"那么,role成了“工作单位中/或某项工作中所担任的角色"。

submerging into a working mode

进入 in this case - is a gradually entering process as oppose to open a door and get in.
So, I would call it - submerging into a working mode (role or mood), I can focus on my work free from distraction.

Sorry - in order to take care of the 进入工作角色[后], my suggestion should read

"After submerging into a working mode (role, mood), I can fully focus on my work free from distraction.
