"cordon ou voile de tissu reliant deux organes, apparaissant à la suite d'une infection ou d'une intervention chirurgicale"


"Adhesion: The union of two opposing tissue surfaces (often in reference to the sides of a wound). Also refers to scar tissue strands that can form in the area of a previous operation, such as within the abdomen after a laparotomy"

The English definition for "adhesion" is the same as the French for "bride". On http://dictionary.reverso.net/medical-english-french/adhesio... "bride" and "adhesion" are used as translations of one another.
