Another possibility when you have to many accronyms in a row and the translated sentence works out to long, you can attach "Translators footnotes or notes" where you can explain the term, or build an "Accronyms Glossary" as part of the translated text (although not in the original). This you can talk it over with your client. He'll appreciate your initiative. But you must tell him I told you.....and I'm available......If anything else comes up.

I'll doubt you'll ever find an equivalent to the RUB. As a Form/Register it would have to have identical fields to be equivalent or you would be confusing the target reader. In these cases its advisable to name the form generically and put in brackets the original term (some people add: "as in spanish"). I think you are wasting your time trying to find an equivalent.

Why do you think the Argentinian SS system would have an English acronym for RUB - which, as per the answers you have so far, is not an 'organization: it's a register.
