[seize the] hypothecated property


Explanation:
If you're the creditor, it doesn't do any good to seize the 'mortgage guarantee'. You already have that. What you need to do, and are entitled to do, is to seize the property and sell it to pay yourself back.

Normally I'm happy to skip over the difference between common-law mortgage and civil-law hypothec, but here you don't need to. 'Hypothecation' certainly enjoys some currency in the Anglosphere in a number of contexts.

Asker: In fact, it seems that the word caution refers to the person, since in the text, I find this sentence : "Il est rappelé à la caution hypothécaire qu'à défaut de payer dans le délai susvisé, la procédure afin de vente de l'immeuble se poursuivra." So could I say hypothecary guarantor ?

  -> Source text is about what happens in a civil-law jurisdiction. Not inappropriate to use the English term applicable in the Channel Islands or Scotland … which makes your "here" seem even more insular.
