I'm translating a sample of a power of attorney with the following instruction:
Удостоверительная надпись нотариуса или иного лица осуществляющего его функции, посла или консула Российской федерации в стране составления настоящей доверенности.
meaning that this "удостоверительная надпись" should be made under the text of the power of attoney.
I'm not sure how to translate "удостоверительная надпись" to make it clear for everyone. Is "acknowledgement by notary or another person..." a suitable option?
