Je ne vois pas bien comment restituer "coach" dans ce contexte (chef de service ? chef d'équipe ?). Si quelqu'un a une idée, je suis preneur.

The advantage of the term is that is keeps a teaching cconcept of "coaching" for the apprentices and workmen under his supervision, but "head coach" is usually "entraîneur principal" in a sports context
