American Dad born in Geneva and brought up in both languages (school in France and Switzerland, university in Cambridge), Italian Mum (spoke 5 languages...), born in the UK, lived in France between the ages of 5 and 50, always in the bilingual environment.
Used both languages during my whole private and professional life, and still do.
French Baccalaureat (French, Latin, Greek, English, History, Geography, Philosophy) with honours, Hautes Etudes Commerciales in Paris, French Law degrees, Cambridge Proficiency.
At one time in my career, and working in the heavy machine-tool industry, was in charge of commercial-sales for all English speaking Countries except ... North America!
Have therefore travelled around the world, from Finland to Australia and China to Iceland, more times that I can remember.
more or less 100% into translation (freelance) since 1994, but always had to work in both languages.
