Russian to English translations [PRO]
Medical - Medical (general) / Ophthalmology
Russian term or phrase: Визометрия
Наружный осмотр: Подвижность глазных яблок в полном объеме. Положение глаз по Гирщбергу в ортофории.

Визометрия: VIS OD=0.3
VIS OS=0.2

Multitran calls this "visometry", but this seems to be a made-up word.

Refraction

Explanation:
At first I was thinking "visual acuity", but that's done with an eye chart and is expressed as 20/20, 20/400, etc.

Refraction is the eye test that determines the optical power, in diopters, of the lenses you will need, so that seems to fit here.

Here's an eye exam description from a professional source:

neutral  Yuri Radcev: it's visual acuity, in fact. because in Russia they express it as 0.4, 0.9, etc, instead of what you've used to.

-> Aha. I was presuming those were diopter measurements. But now that I think about it, they usually aren't so low. Don't forget to put an entry so you can get the points. :)

neutral  Jurate Kazlauskaite: I agree with Yurizx. Please see the web reference provided by me.
