I think this stronger and closer to the connotation in Persian.

We don't really have anything like these میدونی sayings in English, but I thought it would be fun to try to come up with something similar.

To the true friend, may you always be proud
To the backstabber, may your back be broken
To the unprincipled, may you always lose face
To the enemy, may your eyes always be filled with tears
God willing, may you never see sadness

When I read these lines in English, they sound like Irish toasts...you can Google "Irish toasts" to see what I am talking about.

Thank you Edward. Actually the use of these kinds of sayings in Persian is limited. They are mainly used in SMS messages and sent to friends.
