The basic conditions for access to the Master’s programme is always the first vocational qualification, i.e. a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent university qualification (e.g. diploma). According to the law governing institutes of higher education in Schleswig-Holstein, access to a Master’s degree course is dependent on several other conditions. At the Muthesius Academy, this is a grade of 2.5 in the Bachelor’s degree as well as a pass in the Master’s aptitude examination.

neutral  Steffen Walter: I'd use 'institutions' rather than 'institutes' and 'act' rather than 'law' / I wouldn't think of this meaning in this context. Compare the frequency of 'institutes of higher education' vs. 'institutions of higher education' on .ac.uk and .gov.uk sites.
