(training) course in hooking Explanation: Material about crane operation on the Web has a lot of information on "hooking". -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2004-05-06 15:31:34 (GMT) -------------------------------------------------- I have never seen the word \"kurs\" used in the sense you suggest. There is a considerable amount of material on the Web about safety training courses for crane operation. \"Hooking\" is frequently mentioned. See for example: www.naspweb.com/cranesderrickshoists.htm I suggest that \"Ingen bruk av kran uten sikker anhukingskurs\" means something like: \"All crane operators are required to document that they have completed a course in hooking safety\". |

Training in ground assistance Explanation: anhuking is a "ground assistant to the crane operator" and kurs is the education or training to use or be one. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 12 hrs 51 mins (2004-05-06 22:25:15 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- maybe this will help you understand the \"anhukingskurs\" http://www.bautas.no/webhotell/Bautas/eSite.nsf?open&frmmain... or try looking for anhuking on googles under the norwegian language, then you will get many explanations in norwegian |
