I think it refers to the tyres. It's in a list of things to check while on the road. "Double air tyres" only produces 10 hits with Google though, so is there a specific (other) term for this in English?

according to my dictionary, a dual tyre is the second tyre of a couple. However, the internet hits I found (high degree of uk / us / au extensions) for dual tyre / tire seem to intend both tyres.
