Upon termination of employment, depending on federal and state requirements and organizational decisions, your vacation time will be prorated and if you have a negative vacation balance (vacation taken exceeds the accrued vacation), your last paycheck may reflect a deduction for the negative vacation balance (calculated using your hourly rate multiplied by the number of negative vacation hours).
